Simon Blow brought this form to Australia and kept with the northern hemisphere tradition – turn as the sun would move in the northern hemisphere. This is traditional.
The ‘Northern Hemisphere’ sequence turns to the right. So if start facing East, will be East, South, West, North, East.
Below are loose instructions to change the orientation of moves for the Southern hemisphere in steps 11-20 so as to go E-N-W-S-E instead.
Start facing East. North requires a turn to the left. So when bending at waist, go to the right toe first. Come down in centre and do the ‘twining the hands’ over the right toe. Bring the right hand up to the right shoulder then twist the the right toe with left hand first. Then left hand comes to left shoulder, turn to the left and use the right hand to turn left big toe. After twisting the left toe, come up rotating the hands and step right foot anti-clockwise to left.
